Bio:

Nickel is a band from Los Angeles, California that initially started off as a 3-piece featuring Tom McDermott, Bob Schmidt and Fabrizio Munos. Mike Mclaughlin later took over on drums for the next stage of the band's life. During recording of the album, "Stupid Thing", Tom Hite layed down some keyboard tracks and joined the band shortly thereafter.

A video of the song, "Stupid Thing" was produced (directed by Grant Wheeler) which helped to promote the band's music - some fruits of which include being featured on an episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", MTV and radio play.
